Alright, page 24.

First things first, Panel 6- Classic!

As for panel 7… I like H.P. Lovecraft and the Cthulhu Mythos!

Now, I’ve seen it used in other pieces of fiction before, as is a lot of Lovecraft’s ideas, but I didn’t want to do anything that would be considered in bad tastes... or flat-out plagiarism!

So, what do you think? Is it not a big deal, or is Lovecraft turning in his grave?

If it's the latter, then I think I can scrap this piece of the story without too much of a fuss...

The Necronomicon stands pretty well on its own, as a reference, and relatively few people even connect it with Lovecraft these days. THE REST DEPENDS ON WHERE YOU TAKE IT. CHOOSE WELL.

Smile and nod.

I don't think it's really plagiarism because you're not claiming the idea as your own. Plus what you're doing would probably fall under the category of "parody" so... you're safe there.

And as for disrespecting Lovecraft, I don't think you'll have too much of a problem. I mean, I've seen pictures on the internet where people turned Cthulhu into a female squid-monster with humongous breasts, so I think you're safe there too.

Oh, ok. Good to hear then!

And I was planning to take it to the washroom with me for a good read...
:iconnappshafter:
Ok, just as long as I'm in the safe zone here!

And I would not like to see this picture. Ever.
:iconsmilefortyeight:
AHAHAHAHA. FUNNY MAN.

Smile and nod.
:iconquaidezmaster:
It's a well-done picture technically... but it's just.... disturbing.

Tank: So what do you need? Besides a miracle.
Neo: Guns. Lots of guns.
